The Power of Externships in Business Incubation
Chase Norlin, Executive Director, Transmosis
This session will focus on the importance of experiential learning alongside training to fill skill gaps.
This session will showcase a new model whereby candidates learn real work experience by interning at startup companies in an incubator setting. Learn the importance of business incubation to the regional economy, why startup companies and innovation are critical to regional economic expansion, and how the local labor force can be inspired and transformed to participate in the New Economy.
