CYBERSECURITY ADVISORY BOARD
Michael Bernick is Special Counsel in the area of employment and labor law at Duane Morris LLP in San Francisco. He advises employers on issues related to employer taxes, unemployment insurance and disability insurance. In recent years, he has worked with some of the nation's major employers, staffing companies and industry associations.
Mr. Bernick previously served for nearly five years as director of the California Employment Development Department (EDD), the 10,000-person state department of labor. As EDD director, he oversaw the administration of the state’s employer tax collection system, unemployment insurance system and disability insurance system.
Mr. Bernick is a 1979 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. He also holds a B.Phil. from Balliol College of the University of Oxford and a B.A. from Harvard College.

In government, Chuck has served at The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as the first Legislative Director of the Science & Technology Directorate. He served as a top Advisor to the late Senator Arlen Specter on Capitol Hill covering security and technology issues on Capitol Hill.

Chase Norlin is the CEO of Transmosis, a nationally recognized Cyber Security Workforce Developer and the creator of transmosisONE, military grade cyber security protection for small business.
Previously Norlin was the founder and CEO of Alphabird, named the 8th fastest growing company in America by Inc. Magazine. Norlin is a serial technology entrepreneur that founded the Internet's first online video sharing platform and one of the first video search engines, photo sharing services, and video ad networks.

Bernee Strom is a serial entrepreneur who has founded or run a number of companies including Gemstar International, Priceline.com, Infospace, Inc., and USA Digital Radio (now Sirius XM Radio).
Bernee is a current or former member of the board of directors of Benchmark Electronics, Hughes Electronics/DirecTV, Polaroid Corporation, and Software Publishing Corp., as well as other public and private companies. She serves as a Trustee of the NPR Foundation.
Renault Ross is the former Chief Cybersecurity Business Strategist for North America for Symantec Corporation. In this role, Ross led information security and privacy thought-leadership discussions and strategies in public and private sector & expanded unique GTM strategies for field Sales. Ross represented Symantec as a conference keynote speaker, Senate expert witness (State), and during CxO briefings around the country on security best practice principles. His expertise lies in cyber security program strategy, enterprise security architecture and governance.
Ross is currently the President and Founder of RNSC Technologies, a boutique Cybersecurity & IT Management firm that partners with clients of all sizes, to thoroughly assess and understand current Cybersecurity business needs and challenges providing executive advisory services to clients.
Jason Kocienski is an Information Security and Risk Executive who has extensive experience in both corporate and government sectors. Jason is a decorated Military Officer and former Commander supporting DOD operations with a career spanning over two decades.
As an independent consultant, Jason is sought after for his experience in Industrial Security, Cyber Security Operations, and Insider Threat programs. He has provided consulting services to several Fortune 500 companies, and supported Department of State operations in the Middle East as a private contractor. Jason has also had key leadership roles in several technology startups, most recently as Executive Director for Securonix leveraging his experience in Security Analytics and Operational Assessments.
Jason is currently the CEO and co-founder of Digital Overwatch LLC, a Tennessee based firm leveraging Thought Leadership, Information Technology, and advanced Cybersecurity capabilities to support their client’s business and security goals.
